These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Sol Hour, a service provided by León Y Sol, Inc. (“Sol Hour,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Sol Hour is a free hosting product sponsored by León Y Sol. By using Sol Hour, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1.The Service
Sol Hour is a free service that helps you host a gathering. You set the vibe, duration, and music destination. Your guests join through a QR code, request songs, and share moments. Music plays through your own Apple Music subscription. A short recap of the gathering is delivered to you after it ends.
Sol Hour is offered as a brand experience by León Y Sol. It is free to use. There are no paid tiers, no subscriptions, and no advertising inside the product.
2.Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years old to use Sol Hour, both as a host and as a guest. This requirement reflects our affiliation with León y Sol, an alcoholic beverage brand. If you are under 21, you may not use the service for any purpose.
By using Sol Hour, you represent that you are at least 21 years old and that you are legally permitted to use the service in your jurisdiction.
3.Your Account
You create a host account using Sign in with Apple. We do not store passwords. We rely on Apple to authenticate you. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure and for everything that happens through your Sol Hour account.
Guests join a gathering through a QR code or link. Guests provide a name (required) and optionally an email address. Guests do not create persistent accounts in v1 of the service.
4.Apple Music and Third Party Services
Sol Hour requires an active Apple Music subscription to play music. Sol Hour is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple. You are responsible for your own Apple Music subscription and for complying with Apple Music’s terms of service.
If your Apple Music subscription lapses, expires, or is restricted in your region, parts of the service will stop working. We are not responsible for limitations or interruptions caused by Apple Music or any other third party service.
Sol Hour may also use other third party services for voice transcription, video generation, analytics, and similar functions. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third parties.
5.Your Content
When you use Sol Hour, you may upload or generate content including a photo of your face, voice recordings, song requests, photos shared during gatherings, and gathering metadata. We call this “Your Content.”
You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, royalty free, non exclusive license to use, store, reproduce, modify, display, and create derivative works from Your Content, only for the purpose of operating and improving Sol Hour. This includes processing your face photo to generate the DJ figure shown on the visual layer, processing voice recordings to identify song requests, and generating the recap video after a gathering.
You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload Your Content and that Your Content does not infringe the rights of any third party.
You may delete Your Content at any time by contacting us at the email below. Once you delete, we cannot restore it.
6.Photos and Voice Recordings
Sol Hour processes a photo of your face to generate the DJ figure that appears on screen during your gathering. This is a core feature of the product. By uploading your face photo, you consent to this processing.
Sol Hour records short voice clips from guests who use the voice request feature. These recordings are processed to identify the song being requested and are then deleted, unless the guest is signed in and the recording is associated with their guest profile for that gathering.
Photos shared by guests during a gathering appear in the recap. By default, these photos are deleted after the recap is delivered, unless the host chooses to save them.

7.Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Sol Hour if you are under 21 years old
- Use Sol Hour to harass, harm, defame, or impersonate any person
- Upload photos, voice recordings, or other content that depicts a minor in a sexualized context, depicts non consensual sexual activity, depicts gratuitous violence, or violates any law
- Upload a photo of a person other than yourself without their consent
- Use Sol Hour to facilitate the sale of alcohol to minors or to engage in any illegal activity
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical limitation of the service
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the service through automated means
- Use Sol Hour in any commercial setting without our written permission. Commercial venues should contact us through the Sol Hour For Venues page.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
8.Intellectual Property
Sol Hour, including all software, designs, logos, and content provided by us, is owned by León Y Sol, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. The León Y Sol brand, name, and marks are owned by León Y Sol, Inc. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
You may not use any Sol Hour or León Y Sol trademarks without our written permission, except as part of normal use of the service.
9.Marketing Communications
If you opt in during signup or guest signup, we may send you occasional emails about Sol Hour and other León Y Sol experiences. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
We will not sell your email address to third parties.
10.The Service Is Provided As Is
Sol Hour is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement.
Sol Hour is currently a v1 product. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that recap videos will be delivered. The service may be discontinued at any time.
If you are using Sol Hour at a wedding, party, or other event that matters to you, please have a backup plan.
11.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, León Y Sol, Inc. and our affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Sol Hour. This includes damages for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or service interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12.Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless León Y Sol, Inc., our affiliates, and our officers, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of Sol Hour, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of any third party, or the content you upload to the service.
13.Changes to the Service or These Terms
We may modify or discontinue any part of Sol Hour at any time. We may change these Terms by posting an updated version at solhour.ai with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are material, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you. Your continued use of the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14.Termination
You may stop using Sol Hour at any time. You may delete your account by contacting us at the email below.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Sol Hour at any time for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
15.Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Sol Hour will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you live in a jurisdiction where the local consumer protection law requires a different forum or different governing law, that law will apply.

16.Miscellaneous
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about Sol Hour. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them at any time.
